How to delete your account
- In the app:Go to Profile → Account → Delete Account.
- By email: Send a request from your registered email to romp.pet@outlook.com with the subject line "Delete my account."
What happens next
- 30-day grace period: Your account is deactivated immediately. You can cancel the deletion by signing back in within 30 days.
- After 30 days: Your personal data is permanently deleted, including your profile, chat history, notifications, and dog records that only belong to your account. Shared-household dog records may remain available to the remaining members.
What is retained (anonymized)
The following data is anonymized and no longer linked to you:
- Bug reports and feature requests (content only)
- Aggregated usage metrics for capacity planning
- Financial transaction records for tax compliance (up to 7 years, as required by law)
